For the past 800 miles every time I hit the starter button everything fired up no probs. Suddenly since last week if I press the button there is no reaction. Not even a click or anything. Sometimes if I keep on pressing the button or keep it in for a while it will suddenly kick into action and the starter motor will turn.
It seems to be worse when the bike is hot as I have now checked different variations of when it won't start. This morning no problem fired right up. Got to work 26 miles of which 10 city stop start riding and going slow in London with the closure of lanes. Stopped at work, turned it off and on and tried to start the bike - no go. Will check tonight when I get to the bike again whether it starts straight up or not.
Any suggestions where to start checking? My thoughts were that the push switch is not working or making contact although this is brand new. Why it won't turn over when hot is a different question all together again
