its up to 1.270 at the mo and i only have 2000 to spend on a gs so any other recomendations

They are lovely bikes. I had one for 10 years and got a buzz every time I got on it. Mine had the larger tank and a few other mods though which increased the range and made it more stable. Go for it, you won't regret it!

It's certainly got a lot of history I'd take an 1100 over any airhead anytime. A lot more bike for your money and a lot more fun

For the record, that's an R80G/S not a GS.
