R80 ST wheel in to R100GS forks?????????????

I'm thinking about upgrading the front forks on my old ST to the R100GS type from a later paralever model and was wondering if the R80 front wheel and axle can be used or adapted to fit.?? Thanks in advance.

The st spindle is considerably smaller than the paralevers so you may have to see if there's a suitable bearing or have a custom spindle made. It may be easier and cheaper to fit fez forks and front wheel.

R100GS forks are becoming an expensive item , They all seem to be making Eur200 ish....
