Hi There

Can anyone tell me why the ignition light has started to come on at high revs. About 70mph in top.

Either the Oil light or the charge light

Oil Light? Well if it isn;t knocking its head off and the oil level is good then probably a faulty switch

Charge lamp? Brushes? Bad connections ????

diode board fault.

maybe.

I'd check the rotor. It can cause the light to come on at higher revs if the windings on the rotor have started to unravel.
