R80GS Basic Front Wheel recommendations

Hi all, I am looking for a front wheel for my 1996 R80GS Basic. Google has not helped. I would appreciate if anyone could point me in the direction of a new wheel or second hand one. Failing that, are there any recommendations for getting this wheel reconditioned please?



It’s a 1.85x21 front wheel. Aluminium rim.

There is a decent dent in the rim, I’m loosing pressure which might be related to that

Thank you Mad Hatter! Motorworks are great, I enquired about this wheel "BMW R80ST front Wheel R80GS R50 R60 R75 R80 R90 R100" and they said they checked the part number against my VIN and it was not a match and they had no stock currently. Ebay watch notifications have been set. I will have a look into the BMW2V.com website, thanks very much!

The ST wheel isn’t a match. You need one from a paralever GS

Why don't you just buy a new rim and have it rebuilt rather than buying a new wheel. If the hub is fine, just get an Excel rim for it.

That's what I'd do.

I've looked on their website and not found them - should I ring them? I've a feeling the cast aluminium rims are not their thing.....
