just the one dint - on the top - can it be easily repaired or is it worth repairing considering the scarcity of these tanks?

any idea how much?

Definitely worth repairing. As the creases are not sharp have you considered a quick shot of compressed air up the fuel outlet hole? Does the ST have a breather tube? I'm away from mine to check. I'd seal the filler hole with a wad of cloth rather than leave the cap in and don't go mad with the compressed air. If it's going to pop it out you won't need much.

Thanks Paul, I'll have it repaired and sell it or just sell it as is ......... I have another which has a slight repair .......... once they are pained and a GS Basic sticker put on them they look really good.
It has the usual breather tube

I want to bring a car load of stuff back to the UK in Oct to sell ............. every little now helps, retirement is expensive
