Sadly my little red r80st got stolen (again) in London St James's Square today. Fairly well sorted with very good original paint, blue wilbers rear shock, etc. Reg. EXI7549

Just to add more detail, frame and engine numbers are 6056687 (matching). Stolen sometime between 10am - 4pm. Reported to police.

Curiously, when I parked up two men walking past did comment in the bike this morning 'how nice and simple' the bike is and asked how hold it is....can it be a coincidence?!

Wasn't this the bike that was stolen before?

Hi Rob, yes about 4 years ago in hackney....that was just some joy riders and I found it slightly battered down the road. I fear that the theft in St. James's Square was somewhat more targeted....

sorry to hear about your bike

eastern Europeans that's nicked it ! basatrads:anger: its the the paper a while back

I work in east london (O2 arena) and keep a eye open but I somehow doubt you see her again. We had 4 bikes nicked here in the last 2 months. Last weekend a brand new Kawasaki. Gone:mad:

I'd be interested in knowing the answer to that question.

It had a disc lock only on this occasion. Ive been parking in this location fairly regularly for the last 2 years, so obviously felt falsely secure. Unfortunately, it was not locked TO anything - not always possible in motorcycle parking places, even paid for ones in Westminster.

No doubt you will know that the disc lock pin will be fairly small due to the hole sizes on the BMW disk - I found the sheared off pin on the road where it was parked.

Yes, I should have locked it better. ;(

Despite including probable cctv location in my report, the police kindly emailed me saying that they cannot be arsed to look though CCTV footage to for evidence.

Well, I have now been contacted by one of the offices on St. James's square who have kindly reviewed their CCTV footage for last week Tuesday. They have indeed recorded the theft - apparently a motorcyclist... I'll see more when I go and collect the DVD tomorrow.

Where is my little red tractor?!

some CCTV

Received a PCN today - CCTV from Camden Council of the thief riding my bike in London Southampton Row after stealing my bike from St James's Square 14:48pm 20.08.2013.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HhlfEaN7GU&feature=youtu.be

I have also now got CCTV of the theft itself but need to convert the video file format somehow to view on my mac.

Has anyone here got software to convert .60D files (CCTV) to usable video files (avi, mov, or similar)? I can view the files with the include windows viewer off the cd, but not on my mac.

Thanks,

J
