R90S - are these components original?

Hi, low priority, are these components likely to be original? I’m curious if the diode board, stator etc are likely to be the original parts after 80k miles and 50 years.

I’m not planning on replacing, unless it fails.

Given that early R90S’s were made in the /6 era, this all looks period correct to me.

The /5 stator is a little different to the /6 in that it has a nice oval ‘Bosch’ plate affixed that became a boring and cheap sticker on later models.

/6 onwards also had the extra ‘Y’ tap lead on the stator body and a corresponding tab on the diode board that you seem to have.

The /5’s don’t have this.

Looks good and diode board and rotor checks are pretty straightforward with a multimeter.

I’m quite a fan of points ignition. Once set up accurately, it lasts for ages and doesn’t fail suddenly leaving you stranded.

The 8 teeth on your starter pinion and on the heavy flywheel look good to me too.
