R9T Seat Bracket

I need some help to solve a conundrum!

I bought a 2022 Urban Scrambler earlier this year and it came with a box of ‘bits’. It was a private dealer sale so no direct contact with the owner. If you google the part it tells you it’s a seat bracket for a 2015-2019 R9T but looking on the microfiche a can’t see it. I’m probably worrying about nothing as mine’s a 2022 bike but I still curious as to why it was included with the bike and where it fits because I can’t see any noticeable difference between the seat fixings on a 2019 model and mine. I should add that mine has the Wunderlich Comfort Seat so whether that is relevant or not I’m not sure.

It fits to the frame halfway along the length of the Scrambler or Urban seat. The seat locates into those ‘hooks’. Maybe the ‘comfort seat’ doesn’t need it.

Mine still has the bracket, and the stock bench seat, so as above, perhaps the aftermarket seat doesn't require it.
