Hey guys looking at the Mosko Moto rackless luggage sets to switch between my 1100 & 1150 GS… I was wondering if anyone has experience with these setups? Do they fit well? Open to suggestions for other brands!

Not Mosko but I used a similar looking setup for a week trail riding last year. Worked well, had deceptively large capacity and stayed put despite some rough going. You need to give some thought as to where stuff goes, roll things tight, use space well etc (eg phone charger inside a trainer and such like) and a decent plastic bag to separate clean from dirty. I’d use it again.

I've always found that the best way to use the "wasted" volume within shoes is to fill them with balled up pairs of socks. Cram them in nice and tight. (y)

The Mosko kit is excellent for proper rufty tufty off road expeditions. Tough as old boots, very secure on the bike, and expands/contracts for the amount of stuff you have.

But I found it massive overkill for on road touring. I always seemed to end up carrying loads of different bags, usually soaking wet, trying to struggle into my B&B or whatever.

So I switched to Adventure Spec Magadans (they do need a rack) which suited me better, and saved me over £500.
