I think I am getting more and more paranoid every time I go out for a good long ride I expect to get a notice of intended prosecution throught the door. So does anyone know of a good radar/laser detector the ones that I have looked at are the beltronics 966r and the snooper s6r neo.The 966r is expensive£450 and the laser part is another £290 and the snooper is not waterproof? If anyone has any suggestions or alternatives please let me know.

If i wanted to go that slow i would just follow you or i could sell he 1200 and buy a 1150

Same oul feelin

I had the same feelin that every time i went out i was gonnie get caught
so i bought a radar detector , and still got caught.
It can only work when the detector recieves the signal , then its too late !
i heard it beep once . a minute later , the "Lads " were on mey tail . !
Wanna Buy a second hand one ?
My honest to god Advice is this : Buy a foreign registered Bike and enjoy .

Try the Inforad camera warning system. You just download all the UK camera sites and once installed there's a light which glows green when all clear and red when approaching a camera. I've got one and it seems to be pretty accurate.

You're on a loser. It's only the fixed ones that you can detect in reality for the reasons given above, and for those you just need the GPS bit. For the mobiles, you are stuffed - nothing is going to give you good and reliable indications soon enough for you to use at speed on a bike.
