I have the trophy version of the gsa1300, so I get the aluminium plates on the side of the tank with 3 mounting lugs & a couple of holes that look like you could throw straps through them.

Also have aluminium plates on the top of the tank with a half dozen simlar slots that look like strap holes (no cup holder on mine).

How are people getting on with adding luggage here?

I don't like the look (or the price) of the BMW hard shell options, and I have kriega OS 32 rear bags ready to fit when I get round to it. Thinking of a pair of Kriega OS 6 litre soft packs for the front.... but I'll be dammed if I can figure out how I might attach them.

Anyone done it / or can recommend a better option than the Kriega's?

I imagine there will be a good few aftermarket options shortly from various suppliers of quality bags, panniers etc.

Wunderlich is working on a load of accessories. I have a mate that works closely with them as supplier / logistics company and they are running after thier own tails to be first in developing a whole range for the Adventure. Prices should be hefty as usual with them though

Kind of defeats the purpose of the low CoG...
I don't think it's hugely relevant TBH. I weigh a lot more than 2x 6litre bags & sit higher up.

Don't see that the tiny CoG shift will will affect anything in any way whatsoever that I will notice (at least for me). If somehow it was a big deal, I could just leave out 3 litres of fuel & cancel out the change.

Or I couold ride up North & put some higher density air in the tyres - that should do the trick.

I'm picking up a couple of the kriega OS 6L backs later today - will feed back how it goes.
