Not 100% sure if anyone on here would have attempted this but I need to change the angle of my screen. I’ve got different screens at home but they all suffer from being the wrong angle. I want a near vertical screen with a lip on the top more like a rally bike screen. Has anyone butchered their bike about in this way to get a different angle on the screen or a different screen? Just could save me a lot of time and hassle if someone has already done this. It doesn’t need to be adjustable once finished.

I did it on my 1250GS (2021). In my case, I was fighting a long fight against buffeting and got it almost perfect with Wunderlich Marathon screen and MRA spoiler. But the problem was the fact that it was "almost" perfect. So, after doing some research, I decided to change the angle of the screen but in my case I wanted to tilt it towards the rider. The idea came from my previous bike, Suzuki DL1000 (V-Strom) that had angle-adjustable screen from factory. On Suzuki, I didn't have any buffeting only with screen tilted to maximum towards the rider. So, for my GS, I purchased longer bolts for the screen and some aluminium tube, with diameter just enough for the screws to go through, and made 30mm long spacers. I've loosen top screws a bit, inserted new screws and spacers on the bottom, tightened them and then tightened top screws. After that, the buffeting was gone for good. I'm 6'2 tall.
