Radio streaming through firewall

Gents,

I want to listen to radio on work LAN, but it is blocked. Is there a way around this, apart from involving our IT guys who probably won't play ball?

I am thinking of some kind of shell which I then use to access the streaming audio...

Am I dreaming this up?

It's not blocked per-se on our work lan, but it's easy to tell when someone is wasting bandwith on streaming audio/video, as any proper work over telnet/ssh goes all lumpy. A quick walk about the office usually finds the culprit.

I'd say don't do it, go buy a proper radio.
