You could check out accomodation in albrighton only a mile or so away from cosford,
Plenty of bars and places to eat all within walking distance , have great trip ...gav

You might try these, positively M/Cycle friendly as they run training & tours from there, Good base to visit Cosford as its only a couple of miles away, plenty of local eating places within walking distance, good biking roads & well known Bikers Cafe nearby - http://theblackhorsebridgnorth.co.uk/rooms.html.
Why not make it on the weekend of 26th April ?

Ahhhhhh, my old place of work 
. I think the pubs in Albrighton used to do accommodation (The Bush, The Crown) and if you want to pay a bit more the Lea Manor Hotel is just a few mile away.

I don't think The Lea Manor us a good idea as it closed in 2007 & was subject to a fire after the travelling community were moved off the site
Thanks for the update, the folks back home didn't fill me in on that news. Shame, as it was a good local venue for amateur boxing.

The Crown in Albrighton was taken over by a guy who was on this site (?Triple Black) but not seen anything from him for a while so may have moved on?
