Rain - off waterproof over gloves ??

A very wet tour of the Scottish Highlands and Borders proved to me that they work just as advertised

I bought several pairs from the "manufacturer" Pat Reardon at his cabin/factory in Titirangi when recently in NZ. Each pair is handmade and he has a few other ideas in the pipeline to keep us riders dry, based on his experiences as a m/c courier in the UK and touring Europe on an HD

Sadly he does not appear able to send them free of GST as yet - but hey, who cares when your pinkies are dry and all around are wet and whingeing

ps The sizing chart on his website is quite generous and I have found the 7.5ins finger tip to cuff measurement is actually catered for by a small size rather than the recommended medium, even when wearing winter type gloves

Hi Mike.
Just logged on and read your thread,i also have a pair of Rain -off gloves they are brilliant not only are they 100%waterproof but i can wear my elkskin ropers and the rain-off's on top and they are warmer than any winter gloves i have bought (i have tried a lot of gloves including expensive gore-tex but in my experiance they have all leaked eventually) when i bought mine they were£24-99 plus p+p but with the exchange rate the full cost delivered in 5 days was £23.also there is no loss of feel that you get with thick winter gloves.hope this helps.Ihave no connection with rain- off only a satisfied customer.
night trunker.

I got two sets of these Dainese over-gloves recently after lending my son my "waterproof" BMW gloves to ride back to his base in a torrential downpour. Took me two days to dry the BM gloves. He reckons these are the dogs doo dahs and of course they keep off the wind as well. They are well made with three layers and a good grippy section across the palms and fingers.

I was planning to get these

but they weren't expecting mediums in until mid-november, and they were mittens as opposed to gloves.
Hope this may be useful.
