How exciting! Only a few hours left of July and so far there's 258mm of rain this month - which is the second wettest July in S. Kerry since I started keeping records 20 years ago!!! Just 13mm more to beat the 1994 total! It'll be a near thing anyhow ....

Traditionally 15th August is when the tourist go home, so that's usually when the sun comes out so you should be OK. The important dates to remember for the best weather are when the Leaving Cert exams are on and when the school go back in September
