I need to replace a cracked air box on an 1150...
Haynes manual says to remove the rear frame, but I think it might be possible to get the air box out by just pivoting the rear frame saving the hassle of removing it completely.
What do the experts think?
It's a bad crack with a piece missing so no chance of a repair in situ.

Will be a lot easier than removing the whole rear sub-frame...
