Was in Allan Jeffries today and they had both colours of the new Rally Pro 3 in.
I notice there seemed to be a slight shortage of..er......ahem.....Tosser sizes :augie:augie:augie

I tried one on today in Rainbow at Rotherham, Well made and some good features but pricey.

I had a good look at the new jacket while collecting some bits from Ocean today.

I like:

The lower patch pockets are now bigger and seem to be Gortex lined (or whatever they use these days).

The Cordura outer shell is heavier and looks to be more water/wind resistant than than the last incarnations.

The overall look of the jacket is less "Twat-like". It looks a lot less single-purpose in cut and style.

The Poachers Pocket is less bulky and doesn't make the wear look as though he's shit himself.

The two sleeve-tightening tapes should reduce the ballooning effect when the full-length vents are open.

I don't like:

The colours. The light one is just horrible the dark one looks black from a distance but is a very dark green-grey when you get closer. The red flashes on the pale one and the yellow flashes on the green-grey one are hideous.

The two slash pockets that have replaced the two vertical zipped ones are too shallow and once inside the jacket they're difficult to get at (the good thing about the old jacket is that these two pockets are deep and easy to get at).

I'd have one to replace my Rallye Pro 2 because it looks a lot less "GS" oriented and as such it would be a good all-round jacket that I'd be happy to use on my other bike as well as my GS (and retire my ancient FT jacket).

I could probably live with the less than useful upper pockets but the current colours are too awful (for my taste).

You wouldn’t live with the new pro 3 if you lived in France.
Bordeaux BMW have the whole suit for just over €1200 :eek:
How much are they in the UK ?

Looking at the cost of the more quality orientated textile clothing, the current prices nearly gave me a stroke.

from £500 - £1000 is common now for riderware.

Maybe I'll start a thread on who has paid the most for jacket and trousers somewhere on this planet of ours.

I dunno. I didn't bother looking at the price because the colours put me off even thinking about buying one (not that I'd buy the trousers any way and I've never paid full price for any BMW clothing). ;)

Anyone that has bought the new Klim Adventure suit would probably be at the top of the tree - an insane £1700 for the jacket and pants :eek:eek:eek

Was given a price of £840 by SBW Motorad on friday for the Pro3. I'm still looking. Been into 3 BMW dealers now and tosser sizes are a definite problem.

think that is expensive have a look at the rukka lancelot goretex leather suit, its £1200 for the jacket and £1000 for the strides !!!!
