I have to say what a good bit of kit this is and also how good the 2 year BMW Warranty that comes with it is as well.

Brought it 14 months ago, as a commuter doing over 500 miles a week (currently on an 06GSA) I was getting through jackets as fast as the seasons pass by. Heine Gerike, Revit, Alpine Stars and Belstaff all starting to let water in, wearing out, zips braking and Warranty just not worth the paper it’s not written on and binning them.

Decided to pay a little more for what was purported to be a good jacket. Thought it was a little bit annual wearing the BMW flag like that but it’s lasted well and BMW have kept is going no quibbling. Anything that went wrong they fixed or sent it away to be fixed. It’s just had a new zip fitted for free by BMW.

Would recommend it and BMW's service that goes with it to anyone.:thumb

Don't want to worry you, but it looks like one of your arms is coming off!

Quite agree with you, wear mine everyday through all weathers, top kit and well worth the price.:thumb2

Still makes you look like twat though.:comfort
AND why don't they fit a decent zip in the first place.

I find mine too bloody cold in the arms to be honest!!!........despite being really warm around the body area :(

...and the outside pockets are not even vaguely waterproof!!

but not a bad bit of kit...but could be better for the money :nenau

14 months and the zip gone already? - Non-waterproof outside pockets?

Get yerself down to Hein Gericke for a XCR Master suit.

13mths old ~1K miles a week, UK and Europe (for the sunshine this year). Totally waterproof, being XCR GoreTex its a single layer for outer and the XCR. Has a thin thinslate thermal inner (jacket and legs). Been washed and reproofed once.

Best of all, no BMW badges on it.

Rally 2

Get a Rukka, mines 11years old had many scrapes and miles nothing wrong at all bit faded in the sun but fine.

The outside pockets aren't supposed to be waterproof! except ofcourse for the one with waterproof written on it on the left chest area! had mine 12 months worn everyday with no problems atall, i even keep my phone and wallet in it in all weathers!! especially good in the summer when you can take the liner out and get the air flowing through the vents! best suit ive ever had by a mile!!!

p.s whats wrong with having a BMW Badge on it??
