Just finished my annual euro trip and want to get my suit cleaned proffesionally. Done my old one in the past and never thought it came out that graet (even using that NIKWAX stuff) Anyone got any ideas where these can be sent to be cleaned. Thanks for any replies.

I've always used Nikwax techwash and suits have come up like new, just doing 1 garment at a time, low spin and peg out to dry.

I'm guessing any dry cleaner could do the suit, as long as you take the waterprrof liners out so they don't get destroyed.

When you nikwaxed, did you chuck it all in, or do 1 wash for jacket, 1 for pants?

last time with old suit I stripped everything out but done both at same time after running the machine empty to make sure there was no detergent for normal clothing left in

Give the jacket a good rinse through first to remove the easy stuff then tech wash it. Add extra rinse while you are at it.

Tech wash isn't a miracle cleaner so don't be afraid to go at it with a brush the old fashioned way. A lot of my jackets need the brush treatment esp round cuffs. Bath, warm water, brush till am happy then rinse and into the washer.

My mate at work steam cleans his in the yard, looks a bit rough to me but certainly is clean.

These guys cleaned and re-proffed an old Rukka 'Original' suit I have. Looked like new (in terms of cleanliness ) when got it back
