Apparently there are 3 options. Does anyone have a link/ info?

Thanks, but I'm talking about the three seat height options on the Rallye seat for the new GS Rallye.

I had a look at a Rallye yesterday and it's just a normal GS with different colours. The Rallye X is the one with the one piece seat and all I could find was up to 900mm and not sure about the lower settings

I'm also trying to sort out the seat heat question on the Rallye. I'm 6'6" so whan it close to the moon.
This is what I believe,

The Rallye has the bench seat , if you order the Rallye Sport it comes with pillion pack so you get a split seat.
Both can be ordered with the Sports Suspension which adds 2cm (I think its a GSA suspension)
Both can be ordered with the high seat, either bench or split which adds 2cm
I don't think there is a low bench seat. Only low suspension option.

But on the dealer config tool if you order the sports suspension it removes the high seat ???? They said that it was becomes the bike is unstable on motoways, but
The Rallye is max 87 + 2 sports suspension + 2 high seat = 91
The GSA is max 91 without the high seat option, which the configurator allows.

The website seat tool really doesn't help.

Mine has the Bench seat and I would say that it is comparable to my GS TC on the lower seat setting. On paper the bench seat on the Rallye is higher but it is narrower so swings and roundabouts.

Incidentally the Rally feels lighter and more compact than my older GS TC. I appreciate that it is not but with the low screen and layout it seems that way. I'm very pleased with mine :thumb

I think they are 850mm low, 870mm std and 890mm high. I sat on two std suspension rallyes yesterday and the low seat felt like a std GS on low, and the standard seat was the same as the std seat in the high position. The low one is actually more comfortable as the slight cutout makes it flatter. I also found out that you can spec a pillion pack as std with the rallye sport which comes with the two piece seats. The GS comfort seat is also very nice - very similar to the LC Sargent seat but less wide.

Thanks folks. I've ordered the extra high on mine, which I think is 890mm, so is the same as my GSA in the low position. I just wanted to see what the other options are.

Matty's figures look plausible.:thumb

I have a rallye sport and mine never came with the standard seats as well as the one piece rallye seat. The dealer told me it's either/or. He said the pillion pack was the footrests and grab rails which the bike has on it. Is this wrong ?

Yes and no.

The Rallye Sport comes with the pillion pack which includes seats, center stand and standard GS screen however it seems the Motorrad have a default order which deletes the seat, center stand and screen options (this was the case with mine). I suspect if you insist on these options the price will reflect it.

I've ordered the Rallye Sport, but specced the bench seat, tinted sport screen, and centre stand, no pillion pegs. Who knows what I'll end up with!:D

Mine was a launch model which was described as a Rallye Sport with premium pack. I was more than happy with it as I would have not ordered the premium pack due to the cost but managed a good deal. Might add a center stand in the future but I will see how much I miss it first.

Ordered my new Rallye today Rich, and I was chuffed that they have the bike in stock, but tell me more about the seat height choices. I noticed on the BMW configurator that theres an "extra high" seat option, but dismissed it as the seat height on my TB on its highest setting is perfect. I have gone for the sports suspension option though to get the extra clearance should I have to bump down a curb in town..

I only got £60 off the bike, so it retailed at £16,560, I'm paying £16,500, but I got a great price for my TB, the running in service for free and they are transferring over my Biketrac, coding my vario pannier locks to the new bike and transferring the LED Aux lights over for free.

PM me if you got a better deal Rich. Be interested to know if you got a discount.
