Hi all,

I've tried this posting on the GPS threads but think I need a wider audience.

I'm trying to mount a RAM Aqua box onto the handlebar clamp of my GSA, I've got all the bits in the 1" ball format, but the 1" ball base with hole and M8 screw is too small.

Is there a product or method to mount onto the handlebar bracket in the 1" ball format ? Or do I need to use a U fixing instead ? ( I think the bracket fixing would look better ! ).

Cheers all.

I need part numbers to understand what you've got and trying to do ?

The RAM-B-367 (ball with M8 cap socket screws - choice of three, 50mm, 55mm or 60mm) fits onto the yoke clamp brackets.

The RAM-B-231Z u-bolt works on LHS of the clock on screen (oval rail) support. The cast bracket has inverted V so locates nicely and shim (RAP-319) in the kit pads out the size.

AquaBx has four sizes, not sure what model you have, but too large and may be a squeeze, so move onto handlebars, with same parts, RAM-B-231Z or RAM-B-367.

You've posted on same subject elsewhere mention M10 screw from rough measurement .. if thats what you want, look at RAM-B-360 twist-n-tilt which has two methods of mounting, direct into thread hole or via offset bracket and comes with two M10 screws, M10 x 1.25 tpi at 20mm and 40mm or reuse existing cap socket screw.. do not try same trick with RAM-B-367.

Haha !........ I knew it ...... it's me!

Thanks for the advice, great stuff and already ordered.

It is just me, nothing of a mechanical or engineering nature ever makes any sense to me, thank goodness for this forum.

Thanks all.
