I believe this is cheap...

A friend of mine, HP, bought this RAM ball, and painted the screws black.
The cost in NOK was less then kr.20,-, and that is 2-3 pounds (I think...).
He found it in a store for boats! And the firm who makes them is Watski!

The pic are showing it on his Adventure.

:) Liv.

Liv, it looks to me ..like a RAM-B-202 plus the split block clamps which pick up on the AMPS hole fix pattern.

RAM-Man:

What does the abbreviation (acronym) AMPS mean, in the context of the hole pattern on the RAM mounting blocks?

The AMPS hole pattern was created by the 'Association of Mobile Phone Systems' and consists of four holes in a rectangular pattern. An alternative hole pattern was created by NEC 'National Electronic Commission', all US based.

You may see it referred to as AMPS/NEC, the RAM base combines both fixing formats as it has on the same pcd, 1 group of three holes and two sets of 2 holes.

Next time anyone is bored.. mark out the dot holes and see how many patterns you can find :D .
