RAM or GoPro mounts for navs not phones - do they exist?

I see many versions of RAM or GoPro mounts for every phone under the sun, but are they available and robust enough to mount a satnav?

I ask as I wonder about the vulnerability of a phone theft (that tends to have your entire life on it) whereas a standalone nav is dispensable.

Which GPS do you want to mount? I've used a RAM Mount in the past for Garmin nüvi models.

Previously I have used Touratech locking mounts on Ram mounts.

I fitted a ram mount to my (47 year old) Guzzi, with a BMW 4-button cradle so I can swap my Nav 6 between bikes.

People were using the RAM scaffolding to mount their sat nav devices to their motorcycles, way before smart phones (and even GoPro) became a thing. Nobody had any problems, beyond the usual “Which RAM mount pieces do I need, mate?”

Thanks for the replies - I realise I posted GoPro, but meant Quadlock.

I'd like to mount my NAV6 on my Kawasaki H2, but can only find a steering stem Quadlock mount so far.
I also fitted a BMW 4 button cradle on my Honda, to allow NAV transfer between GS and CB.

Look at your bike and look at the mount, you’ll work it out, I’m sure.

That's very interesting, thanks - I looked at Kawasaki accessories for H2 (nothing), but not at H2 SX. I'm sure I can adapt something to suit. It's much less roomy behind the screen than a H2 SX.

I don’t think I’d put a Nav on a quad lock.

No probs on a ram.

I cable tied a four button BMW cradle to the yoke of my Blackbird…. All without help.
