Random music plays around 20 tracks only

So I have around 230 tracks in the 660 playing on Random. This actually only plays around 20 bloody tracks of its own choice and then repeats Is this a software glitch? Does anyone know a fix for this?

I'd remove and re-copy them back in... just to check they are correctly written

It's coming to something when the playing of music is more of a problem than navigation. Garmin must be doing something right.

Not had a problem using 'Random' mode on my Nav V
The ipod, however, does exactly the same thing as your 660.

Not really sure if that's any help to you?

Edit: Just a shsme they can't get the satellite retention to work better.

If you've not done it already some bods have created separate music folders each containing 20 tracks, might be worth trying.

my music works perfect on my Euro SD card - not at all on my US SD card...
Exactly the same folder structure... - so what do I know...

Hi stonehenge my 660 does the same every now and again,What i do is go to media player screen Hit Browse, then hit all,. then Hit play all.The 660 will now play through all the songs.After a month or six weeks it will go back to playing the same 20 or so tracks,So i just repeat and it cures it again Hope this helps.Cheers Francis

Open music player ,press skip several times to freshen things up can work. Other way is to cancel random and play all. Other way is folders and shorter play lists.
