In the dealer today. It's stunning in the flesh. Must've cost a fortune as it's painted not just stickers.

Also the 1290 has no racing heritage, I get a Corona paintjob on a GSX-R of that era, or a 950/990 in KTM race colours as they were replica's of the Dakar bikes to a degree.

This is like paining a Mercedes people carrier in McClaren race colours.

Bit too garish for me - looks well done though. Could be an interesting conversation with your insurance company when you get to the "has it been modified" question :D

Really don’t like that.
Very dated.
The yellow totally destroys the lines of the bike.

Shop looks like AMS.

Yeah, the yellow section of the paint job destroys the lines of the bike.

Like I said, needs seeing in the flesh. I suppose people can look at an art gallery online and make judgements but how can you fully appreciate art from an armchair. The blue colour is drop dead gorgeous. Would be stunning as a car colour.

I have no doubt that the quality of the paintwork is fantastic but "I" am able to tell from looking at the photo, that in my opinion, the actual scheme does the bike no favours. (IMHO)

Not looking for a ding dong......just stating my opinion.
