My Touratech aluminum top box, mounted on the Touratech bracket makes a racket, well like a “tin box”. You can hear me coming from a mile away. The two mounting lugs have succeeded not only in bending themselves, but also the aluminum mounting plate. Straightening both these out and placing some foam or rubber dampers between the box and the plate simply bends the lugs and plate again after a time. It also makes it difficult to lock the box down into the lockable back mounting, as this is rather tightly toleranced. I have even placed a piece of medium density foam inside the box to lower its sound box character…. Any practical advice to solve this rather irritating pain…
