Hi all,
Front tyre sensor packed in,just a quick question, can you replace yourself or does the sensor frequency need to be matched to control unit??
Thanks for help in advance.:nenau

How old? maybe it just needs a battery replacement :nenau

If it is replaced, the frequency will have to be registered with the computer. Dealer again unfortunately.

This thread has just answered a question for me. Was discussing with Tim at Benhams only a couple of days ago.
Anyone know what batteries and how to match frequency? It can't be that difficult and is maybe worth considering replaced at tyre change (say every second/third change)?

I thought the batteries were supposed to have a 10 year life and couldn't be replaced - happy to be wrong though :D

Yep,
it is meant to have a min of 7-10 yrs life expectancy.
Has anyone had theirs changed through warranty or am i stuffed??
got extended approved used warranty.I said to dealer as the batteries are non-replaceable it would be a unit failure.we shall see.

I had both of my originals changed at 18 months under BM warranty.
