I have the RDC option on my new LC. Can anyone tell me whether the RDC system (i.e the special tyre valves used) are compatible with the puncture repair aerosols that you can buy?

And if the answer is yes, what repair kits do you recommend?

Aerosols are crap, buy a Plug N Go kit and do it properly. Takes up less space too

Yep, plus 3 here.

Stop 'N go and a baby compressor. :thumb

+4 for stop n go. Cheap eBay compressor; remove the covers. I even removed the crappy gauge and it becomes quite a small piece of kit to carry. Changed the 'car' plug to a Hella one. Plugs into the bike accessory socket with a fair bit of extra wire cut out so there's less voltage drop along the wire.

Stop n go

God just looked at EBay, which 'Stop n Go' kit would be best as they start from £17 and go up to £50?

I've used Ultra Seal for 12 years without any ill effects on car bike, law mower etc,.
Never had a problem, and frequently pulled out screws and nails etc, and continued the journey.

Anyone else here used it?

Agree 'Stop N Go' are excellent but auxillary sockets on a can bus bike will not run a compressor. Too much current draw.

Wire an auxillary socket direct to the battery for the compressor and keep the engine running with the compressor connected.
