re-installing FD on 2005 1200GS

at 42k miles my FD needed overhauling so I removed and sent the FD to Mike Overy and it should be back with me this week. In the past I have done the FD oil change so was familiar with removing it up to the point of undoing the pivot bolts.

When I come to install does anyone have a how too guide or tips on refitting the FD unit to the swing arm. for example do I re-use the original shims and pivot pins or buy new ones from BMW? Also do I need to use anything other then standard lock thread when doing these bolts?

That does seem to be the obvious answer.

all done!

I'm going to replace the paralever top link bolt as per BMW reccomends and thats it, all done in 30 mins and my wheel no longer wobbles.
