UK again Pah!..
I had a flat battery Monday morning, click click click, a few hours on the Optimate got me back on the road for this morning but the TPS readout is now just a line of dashes for front and back. Nothing else has been lost, even the time is still correct. Anyone seen this before, is it a matter of getting them to talk to something or is it more sinister?

Bike is 17 months old.

You've answered your own question - at 17 months its under warranty so take it back to the dealer to sort. Sometimes they just come back on their own accord though. I had both replaced under warranty so far all OK now.

I got all worried then... Why hasn't my bike got a read out for the "throttle position sensor" nearly ran off to get the manual when it dawned on me:blast

Ah right.

Pity there wasn't a BPS to tell you your battery was going flat :D

The HP2 has an audible warning when the battery is going.

CLICK...CLICK....CLICK, for me it was after I had filled up, ah well it was only half a mile home, pity it was uphill....

Not so funny the second time it happened..
