READ MESSAGES

Normally after I go in and look at/read messages when I come out again they go from bold to not bold and the icon on the left column shows a close envelope. For about a month now that has not been happening.
So all incoming new messages are bold as well as others I have already looked at so it is making it difficult to tell what I have already read (blimey does this make sense ?).

Er...............so how do I "unbold" messages I have already looked at so that I can clearly see the new threads from the old ?......thank you.

Tick the box in the top right hand corner of the message panel next to where it says "Messages: 48" (or however many it is)
Then scroll down to the bottom of the message box and use the drop-down menu that says 'Selected messages' and make that 'Mark as read'.....
Then hit 'Go' and they should, in theory, all get 'unbolded'

Ah....You're not a subscriber, so I guess you're not actually talking about PM's, you're talking about emails aren't you

What prog are you using? Outlook, Gmail etc?

Fortunately I found a way of getting rid of my problem now.

After I have say viewed R1200GS threads I can click on "consider forum read", or something like that, and all messages show as being read. So when any news message come in I can see what is new and what is old.
