Really? Sounds misleading, I've got a 32inch inside leg and am no where near flat footed!

Good point, maybe BMW had a rider over 75 kg in mind when designing the bike? Trouble is when I load it like a pack horse it's even higher as the shock needs pumping right up. Need to justify (in my head) £700 for a new shock

i set shock bit soft today as was wayway to tall on the rear. so i said feck it and went out today
worked very well and was able take the fastish (fast mean 50km wow speed thrill) ruts and jeep tracks
main problem found was i am way way outa fitness and no confidence on bike as nto offroaded in about 2 year properly

no seat is backt o stock height, was way too tall from last owner he has added 2in foam to it.
now i am 28 stone and dont jack rear up too much and rides great.
rear sits down a bit when on bike but when offroad its nice as soaks bumps up very easily with not harsh rebund

its brilliant. tyres very noisey at 35km - 55km or above 120km but other than that they are great
loved my old dakar, but theis so much better, lighter, bit more power and so easy pick up and move around when i go flying over the bars
They are very good aren't they
I also had 2 Dakars and this is so much better
G650X have more bhp, more torque and weigh 30 kgs less and have some really nice touches and build quality
ya pitty about few smaller issues they had.
bit more skill and i will be very happy with it. just need get bike time up again as while since off road.
cant get over how light it is as well

Great stuff, its looking well, didnt the past owner re cover it too? did you manage to get an original seat??
What you need to do too is change the end can, you would pick something up cheap for it, the difference is savage, i found my X Moto sounded like an electric bike with the original but been transformed with a Remus

got mate re cover original. when took cover off lad had just duct tped load foam on over the original foam.
so mate took the crap foam off and got back stock shape and height and just made new cover up
have decat original sometime just going enjoy it while i can
also need sort the sump guard and gear pedal before go any further offroad.
must check oil lines as heard they are very easy damage with stock sump guard.
but class bike and mad how simple was fix when owner taught was normal have hot start issued. can carb cleaner and bike spot on. idles and starts great
