Changed my 800gsa for a 1200 GSA. 2014 blue enduro pack XE. I'm getting used to it. There seems to be a odd vibration on a closed throttle as you come down the revs about 5,000 to 3,000 rpm. I haven't nailed it down yet but it feels just like riding over the roughend markings they pot at the edge of carriage ways to wake dozy drivers. Any one else have this? Or do they all do it? Looking into the fuel filler there is a long tube to stop people over filling and leave room for the fuel to expand. Anybody drilled/shortend tube to increase fuel capacity. It could be done on the older gs and RT. JJH

I guess that vibrations you feel is the clutch. Just a guess. I noticed it on my first ride of a LC.

I reckon you can get 33l or so in that thing. Nearly empty on the gauge I have filled it to the brim with 28l. Still a bit more to go in me thinks.

The vibration you refer to on a closed throttle reminds me of a slack chain!! damn annoying

Currently at 3600 miles but No uncomfortable vibrations.
What I do find bothersome is,the dark "black painted" fuel filler neck interior.
"I friggin can't see the fuel level" until all of a sudden an over fill/spill!
Come warmer weather,I will be looking at disassembly of the fuel filler neck in order to drill (as in past GS models) this neck to allow a full complete fuel fill.

I've done a bit of checking and apparently all u have do is disassemble the fuel filler and remove the tube. Job for weekend. JJH

I've not had any vibration on mine (2016 GSA) so cant help with that sorry.

Re fuel capacity - I did approx 10 miles with the range on 0 before topping up and it took just under 30l to fill it so I think I could have done another 25-30 miles before being dry. I'm getting between 260 and 280ish miles out of a tank before needing to fill up. mixed riding.
