Real road racing....Scarborough 19+20 Sept`

Just a note to inform you that there is some real road racing at Olivers Mount, Scarborough, this next weekend.

I'm from Hunwick and cycled through Rush Park the other week looking in all the open garages (as you do when your sad) and saw a 1200 GS, then noticed your avatar said your from Bishop. I suppose all that just goes to show why I became a plumber and not a detective

I was born & brought up in Scarborough and fancied a look down this weekend, but I'm GNR taxi for the misses and sister tomorrow so can't go anywhere.

Were going from south shields, stopping at Helmsley for brekky at 9:30 Sunday morning!

Set off early and had coffee from a cave (`ish),

Lord Stones Cafe, Carlton Bank Top.

Off towards Scarborough on the infamous `Helmsley TT`,

Into Helmsley to stretch the legs,

Over the tops (moors) to the steepest classified road in the UK :? , Rosedale Chimney Bank,

And onto the busiest Gold Cup i`ve seen in a long time...

Home via the Helmsley TT and the North York Moors,
