really good cheap ear protection

just to drop a line about ear protection i find the motorax soft types next to usless at staying in place
so annoying on a long trip when you feel the ear plug drop out after 15 minutes
i have been using these for quite afew years now

they stay in place all the time every time
are easy to fit very effective .
.very very durable ..more likely to lose them before wearing them out
and washable

obviosly have to cut the string ..i cut the stems alittle so the helmet doesnt catch them when putting it on and off
i get them from my local builders merchants they are light years ahead of the silly soft things and you dont have to pay posh money for the pesonalised ones

i know its not the most rivetting subject but if you are having problems

Had some similar ones for a long time, bought from a lumbar suppliers.

I kept the string on....made them very handy to hang over the bed-head....(major snoring problem fairly well solved )

Did you bung them up your nose, or use the cord to strangle the snorer?

I bought a box of Superfit 33's, from an internet store a couple of years ago, for around 30 quid Sterling and have been using them with great success since. They've never fallen out on me, but then, I do squash em up small before putting them in. (ooh, err).

A quick google later, and you can still buy them for the lowly price of $25 from: http://earplugstore.stores.yahoo.net/eclsupvcfopl.html

The postage may be another $25 or so, but it'll still work out at around 40 quid (that's 20p per set). They also do trial packs, if you want to find that 'best fit'.
