Removed the rear caliper in readiness for new pads and a bleed. Pulled the caliper off the slide pins, cleaned it all up, tried to get front rubber bellow seal back into recess in Holder but will it go, will it bu**ery:eek: Seems to have swollen and will not go back in the hole!!:ymca If I get a seal repair kit does it come with the two bellows and are they gits to get back in or is it me:rob ??

I don't know if the bellows come with the kit, but I would recommend applying "red rubber grease" to the inside of these before fitting. Rubber grease does not damage rubber, but still lubricates, & it also acts as a preservative. Downside is that it is hard to get hold of, I got mine off eBay.

...or silicone grease, that's what brembo supply in their rebuild kits. get some from a plumbers merchants.

If you ask at your local bike shop that has a workshop, most will sell you a couple of sachets of red rubber grease I pay about 20p a sachet normally....

Just to "bottom out" this thread. Bought a slide pin rubber seal kit from my local dealer, not cheap at about £13.00 but in it is the two slide pin seals and a tube of white rubber grease:ymca Comparing my original seals it was immediately obvious they had swollen to roughly twice their original size and the new ones popped in in a matter of minutes, all back on bled up and ready to go:clap
