Hi Guys, anyone have same trouble as me? I find the rear brake pedal is way too low for me and struggle to use it effectively. Have heard that a GSA pedal has a piece that folds down to raise the height? is this right? if so do all gas rear pedals fit a 2012gs? Or does anyone have any other alternatives?

There is adjustment on the back of mine to raise or lower it

this is the front on my gsa

No adjustment from 08 on. I found that the pedal extender from wunderlich helps by a few mm.

Ah, right, I didn't know that, I wonder why they changed it, it came in handy for me on mine as I had to lower it because of a fused right ankle.

TBH I hardly ever touch the rear pedal. Its already gets too much action (to my mind) from the linked brakes system.

I've just checked eBay - loads of GS pedals but not one GSA pedal with the fold over height adjuster. :(

This one has the clevis attachment so if you can get a clevis it might deliver what you want.

This one is non adjustable http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/09-12-BMW...904532?hash=item33ac3b6054:g:z7oAAOSwQoFWO48A

TBH its hard to tell what the difference is apart from the adjustable clevis.

You could try lower footrests, Fastaway are excellent; it's not a cheap solution but they are really nice pegs.

My brake pedal was looking claggy around the edges - salt damage. I smoothed the sharp edges and had it powder coated. Fab all sorted. Erm, no. :( its rusting again around the edges. Looks like zinc plating is the only option.
