Some advice please.
I've tried to adjust the foot pedal, as described, blah, blah, but once done the warning brake light comes on, a little while after, so I re- opened and re- adjusted it back to its original position, and out went the light.

This though has not solved my issue as I would like a stiffer pedal, or more responsive as at this time feels a little spongy.

Any ideas please.

I would welcome some advice on this subject as well, as I would also like to raise the pedal a tad and I could do without the trauma of the dreaded warning light appearing.:banghead:

TTBOMK the only adjustment on the pedal (other than the GSA's two-position toe-piece) is to get the correct free play in the linkage. There is no adjustment available to raise or lower the pedal, or to make it "firmer".

You can

Hi I slackened off the pedal then fitted different size plastic pipes over the stop to enlarge it one over another all pushed on on tightly.

once I had it right I refiited the Black plastic cover which also stops then sliding off.

Sound odd and not very tec but its been lowered over a year now with no problems.

I think most want to raise the pedal rather than lower it. What. Does ttbomk mean?

I believe up to 2007 the pedal did have an adjustable stop, but from 2008 no adjustment facility. As mine is a 2008 I ended up fitting a Wunderlich pedal extender, which as it is about 3mm thick had the effect of raising the pedal just about enough for me.

Mu 2008 GSA has no adjustment as standard. It does pivot on a 15mm dia block, held by an M8 bolt. A new block with eccentric bolt-hole could give some pedal adjustment.

Could the pedal be bent upwards a small amount with a little heat, or get it cut, adjusted and welded back up higher or maybe add a brake pedal extender?
