Hi Mick,

I might have a pair in the garage. Please note 'might' I changed Jills last year because they where next to useless 'as opposed to worn out'. I can't remember if I tossed them or put them to one side. So I'll have a rummage and let you know. Iirc they are bonded rather than riveted. Does it make any difference?

Magic
I have two sets of wheels for one of my bikes the rears of which are quite different IDs = one id quite worn - but not beyond its limits
When I swapum over to offroad the useless back brake becomes worse
My idea is to put some softer linings of slightly thicker to fit um better -
May be daft - opinions are welcome - opinions with solutions would be better
See you soon

Why not got the wheels and linings machined as mached pairs?
SRM in Aberystwyth will do it for you.

Mick,

Are they EBC linings? I've bought them before and they just don't work. Genuine BMW shoes work fine but aren't cheap at around £55 a pair.

I thought it was the different states of the hubs
when I swapped um over they have to cut or rub down to match the hub
I was thinking that if I can match the shoes to each hub job would be a good un
keep a set of shoes for each wheel
Back to the shed !!!! :D

Agreed. I usually do my up most to avoid anything by EBC.

Rob, I don't know who made these ones :nenau but they where so hard they where next to useless. I put in EBC's (I don't think I had a choice at the time) They where a massive improvement on the old ones. I wonder what the BM set would be like?
