Rear brake...

They don't look as new, but I think that they are still thick enough.

Don't know if this help?

Cheers

By gum Bernard that's shit quality for sure ... I would be on to BMW about the quality of their 'bikes for sure I would.

I'll be in at Rainbow tomorrow to register a complaint ... I've just cleaned my 'bike today and look at the state of my rear axle end piece ... crap quality, must be

I've only had the bike three years, done 54,500 miles, run through two full English winters with loads of salt on the roads ... and look at the state of that back axle :tears

My 'bike is probably the third most expensive thing I ever buy after the house and camper van and I can't understand anyone spending sooo much money on something to not look after it :nenau

The fact remains you came on here to get advice about your back brake problem and didn't like the reply.
Wrong, didn't like you're reply :P

There is no excuse where ever you live to let such a vital component get into that state.
Being an air pilot, trust me that I don't need you to tell what is a vital component.

:) sorry, no fight. Really not worth it... Peace brother :green gri

The time that I have? ... If only

No more, no less than anyone else I'm afraid Bernard ... it's just down to prioritising I guess ... my house want's a good sorting, the windows need cleaning, but the bike comes first ;)

Just give it to the groundcrew like everything else a pilot needs done. :thumb

If being blunt is a crime then I plead guilty as charged. A picture of what looked like a poorly maintained brake caliper was posted and comments requested.
If you didn't like the answer then tough !
You've sorted your bike -great. Double great if you did it yourself.
Note to self - don't let it get that bad again - end of problem!

After submitting a report to Vosa about the problem with the rear brake, their representative has requested to be informed of anyone else experiencing this issue.
