Rear Brakes

As I posted earlier my rear pads were goosed at 3.5K. Fitted EBC pads and having just checked this afternoon and they are well over 50% worn and mileage is just 6.5K. Also noticed a lip forming on edge of disc.
Does this mean we take spare set of rear pads on holiday?

The Nav5 info says that on the last ride (just a quick 81 miles on saturday morning for breakie run with mates) the front brake was used over 6,500 times and rear nearly 9,000! Got to be utter bollox! Hasn't it?

The stats run from when you last set the trip, it sounds like you didn't reset it before you set off.

B What bemuses me is that the rear use is nearly double the front use.
Cheers

I think it even applies a smidge of rear brake when the anti-wheelie , also anti-wheelspin software instructs.
The rear pads certainly dont last long enough to do a decent European tour.

The 81 miles was correct so presumed as it was "Last ride" it would be for all stats.

I bought my 13 plate in December with just over 3k and the rear pads were shot. Just hope the EBC pads last a bit longer.

No they didn't!!

Just replaced at 7,919.

It's because you ordered those cheap feckin pads from Taiwan and your discs were ordered from the Wenslydale cheese factory - and they were fitted by a donkey's left bollock!
