Wonder if anyone can help . . . I am looking for some simple way to protect the back end of my 800GS (other than not crashing it!). Don't need the panniers but racks seem to be the only way I can achieve some sort of protection - that is unless anyone has any better ideas. Finding racks by themselves is tricky and would seem to be unnecessarily expensive. Would be really grateful for any thoughts.

I got a Holan sym. rack, and a QD exhaust... works, and looks ok. Do not get one of the racks which bolts to the license plate holder, it can rip it off.

On the other hand I would never tell anyone to deal directly with Holan, find someone who stock their stuff.... Or pay with paypal or credit card to be able to get your money back when/if they don't deliver.

Thanks Casper - first bit of research suggests that they are quite difficult to get hold of.

roger at ardcases is authorised retailer for holan racks got mine from him no problem

ive dealt with holan direct before ,never had any problems ,communicated by e mail ,and stuff sent fairly quickly.
or yes roger at ard cases ,deals with holan products.
