I don't know about you but every time I go out on the LC down lanes and through rain, I end up with dirt all over the rear shock and up the back of my trousers. For this reason I have spent a considerable amount of time developing a 'Crud catcher' for the LC. I have experimented with a number of materials and found that Polyurathane rubber (not to be confused with neoprene) is an excellent and incredibly robust material. Using tie raps to attach to the frame and velcro to attach to the rear mudguard it fills the gaps that BMW should have filled reducing the spray from the back wheel. I have decided to sell these for £30 + £4 postage if anyone is interested. What you get for that is a flexible polurathane lasercut barrier, 6 tie wraps and plastic velcro.No holes need to be drilled. If you are interested let me know.

Looks as tho it rubs on the rear brake pipe cover !
THere is a minor adjustment to make on the drive shaft side although the crud catcher is quite soft and hasn't caused any problems or wear in the 3000 miles I have had it on for. The polurathane is flexible but very strong.

More pictures as requested. The designed has been improved slightly to keep it off the brake pipe cover. This thing really does make a difference and it doesn't look obtrusive and takes only 5 minutes to fit. Anyone interested PM me .
