Can anyone advise me on where to go to get a rear hugger for my 2008 Aventure with ESA suspension, there seems to be a technical problem??? and there are non available at the mo, is this true???

Welcome to the collective. 
The addition of ESA has caused some problems with rear huggers because of the additional equipment.
I've been using Nippy Norman's own hugger with no issues on my 2008 GS with ESA for a while now and it protects the shock bike and rider.

Have you considered a BestRest spray stopper? Cheaper, easier to install & MUCH more effective than any hugger I've ever seen.
I have a wunderlich hugger made by immelberger.
This is fiited to my 08 gsa , whilst you have to remove the rear wheel to fit it is a good product

Take a look at the Machine Art Mud Sling, now availabel from Nippy Normans, it fits to the frame not the swing arm, provides enough clearnmce for the ESA gubbins and works.
