Rear nearside LED indicator keeps dimming

My rear nearside LED indicator has developed an intermittent fault. It will sometimes flash very dimly for no set amount of time then revert back to normal brightness. I cannot replicate the fault by touching connections or wires.
I will of course get BMW to take a look. Just interested if this has happened to anyone else.

I never use my indicators so if there's a fault it should get picked up at the first MOT.


I would be checking the connector.

It may be an internal fault with the light unit you could swap them over to see if it occurs on the other side.

Thanks I’m going to call into Cotswold Motorrad on my way to Overland this afternoon. Doubt there’s much they can do in a short time.
