My partner needs more anchor point off the rear seat. Can you get a rear rack that replaces the rear seat or kits to add extra tie down points.

On the Oilheads (the forum you`re asking in),if you remove the rear seat there is a luggage carrying platform beneath it.

I made this from scrap ally and stainless for my R1150GS. My wife can grab onto the bars or if I'm solo I can strap luggage to them because its almost level with the seat. Not pretty but work 100%. Might give you some ideas.

When I go away, I just replace a few of the bolts around the bike with eye bolts and that gives me all the tie down points I need.

I have a Hepco & Becker rack on my 2002 R1150GS which replaces the pillion seat,
it attaches in the same way as original seat.
