Rear shock bottom bush

Mine is worn on my LC.

How difficult is it to remove the shock / replace the bush ?

Fairly straightforward to remove the shock. Put the bike in "low" suspension setting and follow the tutorial on YouTube
Denz0 on here (T-Tech website) is the man to service the shock....

I had mine proactively serviced but Denz0 (T-Tech) at 30k miles (5 years for me)

Cheers. He’s already done the shocks when Brodie had the bike I think.

But the bush has play now.

Got the shock out. Better order a couple of bushes I suppose.

Is it just knock out / in with a socket sort of job?

Could be wrong here….., it’s been a couple of years since I had the rear shock out, but I don’t think that is a bush. I think that is bearing. Worth checking before starting the work.

Yes that's correct.

I bought both the bearings and they came with some fibre type washers to seal.

It's all back together now. Very tiny little bit of play remains, but it's bordering on nothing.

Not had a chance to test as yet, due to work and stormy weather around these parts.

Going for a jaunt hopefully on Thursday.
