My 04 1200GS is feeling a little loose at the back when i ride with my daughter pillion and getting off i gave a small "comression" at the back end. Imagine the suprise when it went "clunk" all the way to the stops. Its "shagged" i think. So....... Bahnstormer quote £580 plus fitting for new OE rear shock, Ohlins are £710 or Hagon for £295 (plus £120 if you want remote adjust).

Any reccommends - i'm all road driving.:augie?

FTR Ohlins Offer

FTR in Bury St Edmonds are doing another group-buy discount on Ohlins if they can get enough orders. Give them a call, they are VERY helpful.

:) Wilbers shocks.... built to your spec, cheaper than Ohlins and Every Accessory do a GSer discount.

PM me, I might have a good second hand one knocking around and we're not too far apart. It's done about 17k and still worked when it came off the GS.
£50 seem fair?

I've a GSA on Wilburs. The GS shock is just knocking around from a mate's bike swap to Ohlins ages ago (£1200 worth)

I'm no expert in weather, just dumb enough to fly through it. Bit rough in Kaunas, Lithunaia last week. Get it sorted.

Culdrose and Roborough I see. I make my last trip to Baghdad next month to see how they're coping.

weather - everyone loves it!

Common thread then somewhere:) prefer the dark blue to light tho - better outfitters...:D

As to the shock, seems a good deal at 10% cost. I'm LCRA from tomorrow for a week until next mon. What your thoughts?

It can wait till you're ready, no probs and I agree on the cut of your jib Sir. Used to fly with John Beattie from the Senior Service many years ago.
